Your Workspace

Apps

Apps connects your agents and workflows to the tools you already use, such as GitHub, Notion, Slack, Linear or Stripe. Each connection is an MCP server: it gives your agents and workflows tools, like opening an issue or posting a message. Connect it once and every node can use it. Credentials stay in the Vault.

The Apps page

The menu on the left has three parts:

Part What it holds
Connect → Browse The catalogue of apps you can add
Configured → MCP servers The apps you have connected
Credentials → Vault Opens the Vault, where the keys and tokens for your connections are kept

Before you connect anything, the page asks What should your agents connect to? and offers a short list to start with: GitHub, Notion, Slack, Linear, Stripe and a custom server. Click Browse apps for the full catalogue.

Browsing the catalogue

Browse apps lists 42 apps, which you can filter by category:

Category Number of apps
Development 10
Data 12
Productivity 11
Communication 4
Business 5

Among them: Airtable, Apify, Asana, Atlassian (Jira and Confluence), Attio, AWS Knowledge, Box, Buildkite, Canva, ClickUp, Cloudflare (Docs, Observability, Workers), DeepWiki, Exa Search, Figma, GitHub, Google Maps, HubSpot, Hugging Face, Intercom, Linear, monday.com, Neon, Netlify, Notion, Slack and Stripe. Use Search at the top to find one by name.

Each card shows the app's category, how you sign in to it, what it gives your agents, and Add. Some cards also link to the app's own Docs.

How you connect

The card tells you what the app needs:

Label What happens when you add it
OAuth You sign in to the app in a pop-up and allow access. No key to copy
OAuth · own app Also OAuth, but with an OAuth app you create in that service first and whose details you enter in Ubex
Token You paste an access token from the app, for example a Stripe secret key
API key You paste an API key from the app's developer settings
No auth Nothing to enter. Usually public data, such as documentation or web search

Tokens and keys you enter are stored in the Vault, encrypted with AES-256, and never shown in logs.

Custom servers

Any hosted MCP server can be added by its URL, over SSE or Streamable HTTP. Click Custom server at the top right of the catalogue (or the Custom server row on the start page), enter its address and, if it needs one, its key.

Using a connection

Once an app is connected:

  • In an agent, add an MCP Server node for the app inside the Agent node. The agent can then use the app's tools when the conversation needs them: "open an issue for this bug", "post this summary to #sales". See Agent Builder.
  • In a workflow, add an MCP Server node for the app as a step, pick the tool to call and fill in its arguments.

Next steps

  • MCP Server node - every setting of the node that uses your apps
  • Vault - where your apps' credentials are kept
